Prepared by Andrew Keech. BSc Hons MCOptom

Remaining problem free with lenses is easy. Yes, eye infections happen, but if you look after your eyes any infections are likely to be mild and there is no reason to suggest they would not have occurred as a non-contact lens wearer. Complying with instructions is very important.

Contact-Lens

There are three questions that help to apply common sense to the potential problems that can arise. These are;

Can I see?

How do my eyes feel?

How do my eyes look?

If you answer in a negative way you’ll need to visit me or another eye care specialist. The urgency is common sense and leaving your lenses out is a very good idea.

And remember consult your lens care manual and solutions instructions.
Be safe and enjoy the freedom of lens wear.
